Presets

A preset is a collection of:

• a settings profile
• an action
• a collection of mods
• optional: a server

When a preset is executed on the Main page, the updater will use all the information connected to the preset,
and any of the overrides you might have selected, to configure, save it into six-updater.yml and run the install/update process.

Settings Profile

A settings profile is a collection of:

• app_exe
• app_path
• optional: app_logpath
• optional: app_params

It can be used to make seperate profiles for different installations of the game, like vanilla or beta (beta\arma2.exe), or a seperate installation on another drive.

Actions

An action collection contains a set of actions that will the updater will perform, when the action is executed

Mods

A mod contains all the information required to download/update the mods on the Six Updater network

Servers

A server is a collection of:

• Server details
  • name
  • address
  • port
  • optional: password
• optional: mods

Repositories

Repositories are the mirror servers that files / updates are downloaded from and are provided by several 3rd parties.
